Get in Shape: Slim up, Rid of love handles, flabby arms, big thighs & lady's those enormously huge butts!

So appetizing, so yummy & delicious looking ain't it, I'm so full but just one more bite will do... STOP! put that cupcakes and fries down and gulping down the coke.. really you might as well be killing yourselfs in the process while eating so much of those junk food. Well you are what you eat, it's just like if you eat shit you will eventually look like shit. Obesity can lead to so many health problems like being unfit, tiredness, increased blood pressure, severe diabetics, getting your immunity compromised and getting always sick, even worse leading to liver and heart failures & eventual deaths. Also do you want to be called fatso, humpty dumpty, choccy or other various offensive names and rest assured these are decent ones. Rest assured that I'm not trying to be offensive here at all guys! Besides i'll be the last to do so as once i was pretty fat or lets say very chubby. But that was long time back and most of my childhood days. It's not easy being a fat kid, actually i wasn't that fat just much like more chubby and still had a few slangs & names thrown at me that i didn't like one bit by some of those bullies and jerk friends. The truth is this generations is the most laziest the world has seen to date. Mainly in our own country the new generations youngsters have much increased obesity than previous generations, specially the kids. Obesity has been a major issue in all over the world, mostly in the more developed countries like United Kingdom where all little kids know to do is play their PS3 and eat Kentucky Fried Chickens. Convenience is a great thing to have, but as the old saying goes:
"Too Much Of Anything Is Bad For You."
OK! These are just the most elegant photos i could find to put in to these articles as examples. You might think it's cute, but its not for that little kid. He'll be getteing continously bullied and called names, parents these days really need to take more care of their childrens health. Really most of those pictures i found were just too gross to put. So stop feeding your kids as if they were little piglets and make them look like that worlds fattest man in mexico called Mauel Uribe or Jabba the Hut in Starwars. Seriously just stop it people! Well! so know that we have gotten over that part let's focus on how to get fit, slim and healthy. So listen carefully, here are the most important things you need to learn to do & don't do  to stay fit and healthy.
1. Controlling your eating habits
The most important thing to do if you want to get slim and by that i don't mean healthy is to control your own eating habits. If you want to be slim and healthy than eat a balanced caloric meal with veggies and fruits. To someone who eats a lot and loves food its very difficult to control the eating habits.  But its discipline and self control here where you win a great body. I know this because i really have an appetite for food mostly having a sweet tooth and i for once didn't have the perception i was ever eating excess, that was until i came here to study and had to live on a really tight budget and was forced to control my meals. But it had its positives i lost nearly 12kg in one month and i was thinking Holy Shit! this is how i should really look like. Then only I realized i was actually still a lot overweight before. This prompted me to control my eating habits and know I'm reaping the benefits of having balanced and controlled meals. I have really disciplined myself in that expect and you guys can do the same too. Therefore follow these steps to control your eating habits which i have seen useful:
a) - Balance your calorie intake: First don't eat burgers & fries daily, maybe occasionally because they have a lot of calories and all these calories not burned by your body will be saved as fats. Also eat less of high calorie foods like rice, flour and sugar. These are the steps you need to take to avoid too much calories in your diet. Eat small balanced meals every six hours, as this has proved to increase metabolism and uptake of protein, vitamins and minerals by the body.
b) - Don't eat too much sugar: a very important step is controlling the amount of sugar you intake which actually has the most high amount of carbohydrate content and calories, especially if your diabetic person. Don't drink fizzy drinks too much like coke & F&N as these have a very high content of sugar and mostly fructose which is the worst type of sugar with the most amount of calories. Therefore limit how much sugar you put in your drinks and other sweet stuffs you make. Something i find very useful is these low calorie sweetners like Tropicanna slim sugar sachets.

c) - Don't eat too much salt: As important as salt is in our diet, its as important not to consume too much of it. The most common way people get dehydrated and increased blood pressure leading to difficulty in breathing and heart failures is due to excess consumption of salt. Therefore limit your salt intakes and try to eat iodized salt which prevents you from throat cancer, especially with all of the nuclear waste going into the air which has nuclear isotope iodine-131- which the thyroids consume. Also be sure not to take too less of salt as deficiency can cause kidney problems and even coma.
d) - Don't starve yourself to get slim, eat green & healthy nutrition: If you are going to do something try and do it right. Just because you want to be slim don't starve yourself by not eating anything, this is a message of most of you girls out there. Because I had a sister who would starve herself and if she eats anything will vomit it out. It's not very pretty when you start looking like a skeleton so please do your parents a favor and stop it. The best thing you can do is have a balanced meal every six hours which will give you all the right amount of nutrition. Therefore include some type of veggie salad with cabbages, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts, ladies fingers etc with onions, pickles and garlic; plus you can make fruit salad with apple, oranges, peaches, bananas etc. Well you get the idea right. they are lot of fruits and vegetables to choose from, they give you a lot of essential fiber, vitamins & minerals you need to keep your body developing and strong. This is very important especially for children's at adolescent ages for their maximum growth. Why i think most Maldivians are undergrowth are due to the deficiencies resulting in not getting the correct amount of nutrition in their maturing ages.
e) - Protein intake and muscle development: Did you know the best way to get the maximum amount of natural protein intake for your body is to eat tuna. Yes! Maldivians favorite food actually has the most amount of natural proteins with the least amount of fat in them. But don't eat too much of it as it could lead to mercury poisoning which is a substance present in tuna. Not only that people it has a very important FAT, yes you heard me right not all fats are bad for us. Actually this one Omega-3 fatty acid is very vital for our body's metabolism. Therefore be sure to eat tuna, but not too much of excess if especially your trying to bulk up its a good alternative. Eggs are pretty important too just one whole or 2 eggs a day is good for you if your active, also egg protein albumin is one of the proteins which the body consumes completely. But don't eat more than two yolks a day its a lot of calories and will make you look like a giant pound cake in a few months time. Chicken meat is good too but don't eat too much beef meat as it has a high quantity of fat and also unclean ones have tapeworms in them so be sure to buy your meat from only trusted brands. Also don't forget milk is a good source of protein & calcium too.
f) - Eating Fats & Oil, What are the good & bad fats: When people say fats the perception we get is it's all bad. But this is wrong fats are as important as the carbohydrates or proteins you intake. The problem is they have a very high caloric amount and the body loves saving them for a rainy day. Knowing which type of fats to eat is a key component in a healthy balanced diet. The so called "bad" fats are saturated and trans fats which increase the risk for certain diseases like blood cholesterol level which increases blood pressure and causes heart attacks. Then their is the so called "good" fats or mono unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats which is very essential and actually lower disease risk. The key to a healthy diet is to substitute these good fats for bad fats and to avoid trans fats. Therefore when cooking & making salads use olive oil & except of margarine use butter when making cakes and stuff as butter is poly unsaturated and margarine is a saturated trans fat. Also limit your cheese intake. But yoghurt's is good after a meal as their specialized bacteria in it to help in good digestion & metabolism in your stomach.
g) - Drinking Tea & Coffee: Did you know both tea and coffee has antioxidants which help in aging & metabolism in digestion by helping keep a clean bowel. Phyto-chemicals in tea helps protect your bones and boosts up your immune system. Also its calorie free and Poly-phenols and antioxidants found in it helps fight cancer. Also green tea is better, as it helps prevent esophageal cancer and ladies it also decrease your cholesterol level. Coffee has most of those effects too plus it helps you remember things better and increases your heart rate which helps burn more calories and helps prevent heart diseases. What i have found is if you go to gym just after you have drink a cup of coffee your metabolism is much higher and you are much alert and have more energy to burn. I have addressed this because almost all of us human beings will drink either coffee or tea so its better to know about the affects of it. Also, coffee may reduce the risk of developing gallstones, discourage the development of colon cancer, improve cognitive function, reduce the risk of liver damage in people at high risk for liver disease, and reduce the risk of Parkinson's disease.Only problem with coffee i think would be that caffeine in it is addictive. So a cup of of coffee every morning is just a very healthy way to start off your day.
2. Having a good Exercise plan
The ideal way in staying fit would be to have a balanced diet plus a good exercising routine. People have grown really lazy and maybe busy to do any type of exercises these days. But believe me exercising everyday for lets say an hour or so is the best way to relieve your stress. Just plug in your iPod and go for a stroll in the park. After you have finished and taken a shower you will be feeling just like a million bucks, so good. Also be very careful to always do warm ups before and cool downs after any exercise you do to prevent yourself from any sorta cramps or muscle pull. Actually exercise is just secondary if you want to be slim and healthy. Exercise is what you do when you want to have a ripped, tough and sexy body. Therefore below i'll be highlighting on what we need to do to achieve these Hollywood beach bodies we all are so craving for.
a) - Save your money, don't buy these bogus items to get fit: For the love of god people if you really wanna get slip and ripped all you need to do is work for it. There are no shortcuts, their are no magic pills or any magic belt you can put on your waist and poof all your fat disappears. Just do some honest work for it rather than taking some pill and in the end having to cope with much too many side affects that could even kill you. So don't give into these fancy ads saying only you need is 5mins to get thin with their never ever working products. So save your money or else buy some jogging boots and go to the tracks for a jog.
b) - Most important is cardio exercise, lower your fat content: The most important exercise will always be always doing cardio or in other words some sort of running, jogging or heck even fast walking. The best way to burn some maximum calories is to do cardio. Guys all of you have the same ripped shape hiding behind all the fat underneath your body, you don't need big bulky exercise unless you wanna gain some serious tough muscles. So if you wanna stay lean and slim and still have those ripped abs its really simple, all you have to do is get rid of that layer of fat between your skin and muscles and viola you know have Ryan Reynolds or Kim Kardashian like bodies as above. when you lower your body fat to say almost 20-5% you can see great results. So just take your iPods as i say put on some Metallica or System of a down music or whatever the hell that get's your blood boiling and pumping and go and hit the gym treadmills. If you are those types who hate running on treadmills then take up some sorta active sport like football, basketball, tennis, badminton, squash etc. and not golf. But the best form of activity you can do to tone up your body 7 burn enormous amount of calories is going for swimming. The best way to get those cuts and get an awesome ripped body, just hit the pool for a swim for 1 hour every day and provided you maintain your well-balanced diet I'm sure you will see results in less than 2 weeks. I won't be emphasizing on any type of exercises you needed to take up, because in my view this much is enough to have a lean and ripped body unless you are going to compete for Mr.Maldives or world bodybuilding championship no need for any vigorous exercise. Hope i have helped all of you a lot by sharing what i've known and found out on my own experiences. always remember:

Free Kinboo Campaign: Let us all help Free Crocodile (Kinboo) at Kudakudhinge Bageecha

This is the tale of a sad & lonesome Kinboo, a crocodile who has been held captive in Maldives Kudakudhinge Bageecha since 14th February 1998, though Kinboo was caught in Valentines day for almost 13 years which is more than a decade Kinboo has been in isolation lost without any companionship of a friend or a mate and probably gone psychotic by now. I sure as hell know that i wouldn't ever wanna be in Kinboos leather shoes. Really it's no laughing matter incase you are laughing because Kinboo has lost his freedom and has become a side show Freak for all the Maldivians. Not to say getting abused by children and some adults with stuff thrown at and laser's being burnt into his eyes that im not sure even if Kinboo hasn't gone blind by know. At least his thick leather skin will protect from the stuffs being thrown at him. I have always been supporting this cause, especially more actively since the Billabong High school students protest campaign for this cause.
Well see the pictures above guys for such a large reptile, Kinboo is actually worlds second largest crocodile known as the Nile Crocodile which grows almost 11 to 16 feet long and mostly roams & travels around large Rain Forest with wet landscape areas. So being trapped in a small dirty cage which is barely able to fit him is worse than death itself. Also Kinboo is an endangered species and one of the few amongst the decreasing crocodile population in Africa. Actually what prompted me most to write this article was after seeing the petition on twitter and some supporting movements in the MV bloggers to free Kinboo. So if you have a twitter account i urge you to follow @TheKinboo and join in this campaign. I mean it's been bloody 13 years guys don't you think he have suffered enough for us Maldivians entertainment. Come on ask the question to yourself, would you be in a place like that or just rather die, see its so cruel & wrong. So If you want to know someone who is really feeling guilty about it, here are some posts i hear said from the person who personally captured this Kinboo (Mr.Dicky). I have taken this bit of comment below from a fellow MV blogger MCPW. You guys can check that blog for the whole story.

ANY CHARACTER HERE
Hi! All this is Saeed (Gahaa) also known among other names as Dicky, Kimboo, DP etc. Just to fill u in. The croc was caught on 14th February (Valentines Day) 1998. I was DP of Majeediyya then. I caught it primarily to save the kids who were swimming in the sea in close proximity to the kimboo. i also wish for it to be released/rehabilitated. The NSS initially wanted it killed because it was a dangerous animal. But i assured Brig. Gen Adam Zahir that I could bring it safe to Male'. i did. and this is where that has led us eh? I believe there are rumours of Kimboo being taken to Sri Lanka or S'pore/M'sia. Unconfirmed as yet. But rest assured I will sign any petition calling for the release of the croc. And talking about liberation , methinks the croc should be freed ASAP. Am going to Male' on holiday in the first week of July. Will talk to key ppl to see what we could do to release the fellow. Options available seem to be: a zoo in another country (with other crocs to rehabilitate); or send somewhwere for climatising and adjusting and then set it free as in Free Willy (as suggested by members of the forum earlier)! See ya later alligator(s)!

Also guys did you know this is not the first time a crocodile has been caught in Maldivian waters. Actually there have been two more reported catches one in Noonu atoll Maafaru where a six foot long, 26 inch wide crocodile was captured by 14 fishermen crew of Alimas Dhoni. Second one was a four-foot crocodile which was found near an uninhabited island in Thaa atoll Vilufushi by police. Reportedly Crocodiles were earlier found from Thaa atoll Buruni on two occasions and another sighting was reported near Gaafu Alifu atoll Kondey. Just thinking what the late great 'Crocodile Hunter' known as Steve Irwin who died of a sting ray's attack which pierced a needle in to his chest, so what would have he done had he known we kept a poor crocodile caged like this. Certainly he would call all animal rights foundations, make a documentary of it & try to free it and find a better habitat for it to live in, actually we can't keep animals caged like that in Childrens Garden a.k.a Kudakudhinge Bageecha its just so cruel, wrong and inhuman to do such things. Atleast we should give them a big wild place resembling their habitat with atleast a few dozens of their compatriots for them to roam around and by wild place i mean wild parks with a few hectars where the animals are kept in their own habitats to roam around freely in a tight and safely controlled area.

So if we can't afford to make such a place we should let these animal have their freedom. Because if we can't let them be what they are we might as well just kill them off. Trapping them like this make them loose their natural animal intincts and once released to the wild they cant survive the harsh conditions to survive their. Because their it is survival of the fittest, kill or be killed. So grow a heart and do your social responsibility duties as a fellow Maldivian just like me and sign in this petition. So that we can bring the awareness between us and let our ignorant government take notice, but most importantly so that we can find Kinboo a better home & a habitat where he can find a mate with companionship of many of his kind. Also the petition is not doing so well yet with 67 sign ups so far, therefore help us help Kinboo by going to the petition link by clicking below or the Supporting Causes Free Kinboo icon on the right side of my blog. So help a poor lonely, abused, isolated and helpless poached animal in need. Pls Let's all stop this cruel act & Help Free Kinboo.

Floating MRF, why it's 10.28? Where are the $$ acquired from selling Airport, MWSC & Dhiraagu?

The latest news in Maldives is that the exchange rate for Maldivian Ruffiya (MRF) against United States Dollar (USD) has been made to float between the range of 15.42MRF – 10.28MRF: Here is the Haveeru link if in case any of you wants to read more about the story: http://haveeru.com.mv/?page=details&id=109812. As for middle class students as myself who barely is making the ends meet with tight finances on their own the story was a big blow to hear. Really don’t know how to cope with this situation if the bank decides to change its rate to 15.42MRF. Because by this new reform on the exchange rate they can legally do it. Just expecting for MMA to finalize the bank rate in a couple of days, surely it will escalate though it might not hit the high as 15.42 it is more than likely to escalate beyond the 12.85 mark. Well that was my initial thought, so much for wishful thinking but BML has know officially announced that US dollar will be available for trade at a selling price of Rf15.42 & a buying price of Rf12.75: http://tinyurl.com/3mh874I. It was a real bummer to find out about the fluctuating Ruffiya, but its the cold ugly truth that Maldives money was overvalued at the current state and that this course of action needed to be taken actually a long time ago. So we Maldivians do need to accept this fact as I’m sure most of us will know it would come to this sooner rather than later, Therefore hearing International Monetary Fund (IMF) supporting this course of action was hardly a surprise to me: http://tinyurl.com/3dzdck3. Below i’ll try to explain the possible effects of floating Ruffiya so that most of us who doesn’t know that much about economics can be aware of what all this means & will also be easy for them to understand and get an idea about all this hocus pocus about the exchange rate.

How Floating The Ruffiya at 10.28 -15.42 at 1U$D will Effect us
  • When our currency falls from say MRF 15.42 – MRF 10.28 at 1USD the Maldivian Ruffiya value will be going up and this would mean our economy is getting stronger, resulting in everything good and less worries.
  • However when the Ruffiya rises say from MRF12.85 to MRF15.42 at 1USD the maldivian Ruffiya value is going down and means our economy is not doing well, resulting in:
  1. Commodities like every day necessary goods like food will increase in amount, this is due to Business man having to pay more for their imports to their suppliers and due to more amount being payed for import duty fees. So expect everything to increase even those submarines we eat at dinemore garden and we thought it was expensive enough.
  2. A major problem will be increasing of Rents and people will be finding it hard to spend more and will try to accommodate to more cheaper means of goods, less spending will mean that less goods will be imported too and more high end goods will be limited and scarce.
  3. Maybe its favorable for exporters but really people we have no productivity whatsoever aside from MIFCO and can’t capitalise on this factor.
  4. Foreigners or Tourists can know come here much cheaply which will hopefully result in increased number of guests and increasing more revenue for Tourism industry, but more likely the services will become expensive to meet the previous rates as the bed tax and resort fees the owners has to pay has increased so this could mean only a cheap flight for them.
  5. But there will be no cheap flights for us, the aviation industry will increase its taxes to meet the floating exchange rate as petrol fuel will be much expensive know. Mostly expect this from the Island Aviation local flights as it will be very difficult for them to cope with this dollar crisis.
  6. Expect government to influx in a lot of extra cash into the economy as inflation soars to manage the economy which would most likely result in more weakening of our Ruffiya just hope it doesn’t increase more than 15.42 as it is.
  7. But positive effects could arise from inflation as it ensures that central banks can adjust nominal interest rates that interest rates can be lowered to attract more and encourage foreign direct investment (FDI) in non-monetary capital projects.
  8. But when currency floats it will be easy for businessmen to manipulate the supply and demand so that it would favor them unless strict government rules are made to counter these problems.
  9. Most likely political unrest due to these monetary policies raising inflation and unemployment will create even more drug addicts and therefore be ready for even much more increased amount of crimes & also this will scare off any if investors are their for us.
It’s a bitter pill to swallow and more so for me in my current situation, but still I’m able to swallow this pill and take this tidal wave on my face. But there are some questions we need to ask, somethings i don’t understand & doesn’t make sense? firstly why is the currency floating at 10.28 to 15.42 and not at 12.85 to 15.42, which is more realistic. Well! does the government want us to think that the economy will get better, i don’t think anybody but a fool is gonna buy this. But yet again there are a lot of blind fools aren’t there right. The person who made this reform was very clever as he once promised to bring the rate to 10.28, so this is his cunning despicable way of bringing the promise to his people. It’s such a shame & to me this is just a psychological make good factor implanted in the peoples head, which wouldn’t happen in even the nearest decade at the rate we are falling down. Seriously it’s unrealistic that our economy at current state would in any near future improve to hit that number of 10.28. Even when the US economy is at a low and the dollar is depreciating globally we are not being able to capitalize on it. People can say it is the government’s way of countering the black market money exchangers. These things happen because the government can’t monitor & doesn’t put an effort to find these people and punish them, as legally only licensed money exchanger’s are allowed to do money dealings like this.

Prices of commodities will considerably rise in my view, but in some experts view they say that the even now the big players in the market don’t do their costing using the fixed rate; instead they are using the black market rate this same view was shared by MP Reeko Moosa Manik, this claim was certainly opposed a lot mostly by MP Ballaku Ali Waheed who said the commodities will rise 20% higher also MP Thasmeen added import duty to be the major case for the increase: http://tinyurl.com/3c9qsIf So in their view their wouldn’t be a huge increase in prices and if there was even their will be a slight change. But I know how Maldivian Business man works and they are greedy and will take any opportunity to maximize on these situations. Why? because government let’s them, it’s these rich people who are running at the parliament, and the few people who are not are also being controlled by these people. Maldives needs new reformed trade laws and needs to fix prices of some of the necessary commodities at a reasonable price. Because this is the only way to counter these problems or else we the people will be the ones getting ripped off by having to pay the extra sum. Who knows in the future a lot of Maldivians maybe out on the streets as homeless beggars. A middle class man can’t buy decent food to feed his family and it’s just so sad and wrong that government doesn’t give a heck about their people. Just think what will happen when we have to start paying government taxes. Also the funny thing is these members of parliament always increase their salary and bonuses regardless of the mess our economy is in. Did you know that 20,000/- MRF bonus bill which got halted due to protest has been again proposed in the parliament and is about to be approved. Really these people are just a bunch off selfish, corrupt mercenaries only working for their own gain.
Ever wonder what happened to all the dollars we acquired from selling all of our countries assets to foreigners. The 25 year Airport lease to GMR-MAHB consortium who proposed to pay US$78 million (almost Rf1 billion) upfront, one percent of the total profit in the first year (until 2014) and 10 percent of the profit from 2015 to 2035. It also agreed to pay 15 percent of fuel trade revenues in the first four years and 27 percent from 2015 to 2035:http://tinyurl.com/3f9roaa. Also Dhiraagu one of the few profitable companies which shouldn’t have been sold is now out of government hands as the sold the maximum shares to a UK-based company for some hefty significant amount, same thing happened with MWSC with a joint venture with Hitachi:http://tinyurl.com/3c2f42s. So where did these money go, certainly a certain parliament member got a large chunk of this, almost 21million USD for his heavy load company for the Thilafushi project on very controversial circumstances: http://tinyurl.com/44kggy5. But aside this the main problem is that a lot of business man keeps holding these dollars to increase the demand for dollars and doesn’t put their money in the Maldivian public bank anymore. Mostly due to the Audit Report of the former Auditor general Naeem who made an audit report on BML revealing details of accounts of many rich businessman which should have remained anonymous and confidential. Also a lot of money is being lost due to the amount of foreign labor mainly Bengals and Nepalese brought in our country. Because these people send all of their money overseas and the as a result the money doesn’t role inside our economy.

I’m guessing we can debate on the positive effects of it that this floating Ruffiya would mean MMA will have to announce new bank rates everyday and if and that’s a BIG ‘IF’ we ever see signs of an economy recovery will see our Ruffiya get stronger hopefully and may even get a better rate which would not happen when it was fixed like when it was at 12.85. But dont get your hopes up so high people, this floating of the Maldivian Ruffiya will mean the powerful business man can easily manipulate the demand and supply in their favor and the civilians of the country will be the victim of the heavy prices of these unethical practices. Some experts I’ve talked to stress the need of passing a law to manage FOREX or to either leave the exchange rate to the market. As the black market is largely due to the excess demand, which cannot be brought down immediately without some ruthless solid action. For example let’s see one of the most biggest problem is that the rich resort owners doesn’t keep any revenue of their income in the local banks. The government needs to man up and make a law so that it would force these rich shrewd business mens to let’s say keep at-least 50% of their revenue in the local banks if they wanted to do any business in Maldives. Also we can deport all those troublesome unhygienic Bengal & Nepalese workers in Maldives without VISA and work permits. Because these are money government are loosing out on, which they need to get a grip on and take some courageous ruthless action on. So as we can see it’s inevitable that we need to make new trade reforms, laws & regulation to counter these difficult but important to dealt with problems.

Cry of a Soldier: Blood Of Maldivian Sons < Noble Prize (a crazy mans ego)

One mans huge ego and greed to achieve an enormous prize at every possible cost, i fear will lead to consequences of tragic ends for his people. Today i was once again shocked to the core after i heard what our ministers approved. If you want to know the whole news about the story I’m talking about please check this link on Haveeru site http://haveeru.com.mv/?page=details&id=109602 Yes! Indeed our co-operative government specifically calling the Vazeerunge Majlis has made up their insane greedy minds to send our troops, our very own soldiers in to harms way by accepting the draft proposed by the defense ministry to support the so called UN peace keeping operations. All for one mains crazy obsession for his own selfish achievements, so that the international world will recognize him, but does he not care for his own people who will go in to these US/UN made blood for oil wars in Afghanistan and in the middle east countries imposing great threat of risk for their lives.

It saddens me so much why so many Maldivians are so poorly informed and blinded by their support for these parties. People take your red tainted glasses and see the real cold picture. Time to be unbiased and form rational views. Maldivians your troops are not being send to Disney land to play with Mickey Mouse and go for fun rides. They are going to be fielded in the midst of action in the battle field. Our soldiers will be tested they will have to fire armory and they will be dealt by heavy fire ammunition. They are gonna loose body parts, the are gonna break their limbs and they will risk death. Think men what if it was your father, your brother, women what if its your husband, are you willing for them to die for somebody else s war mess. The Question is are you ready to loose them, are you ready to become lone single mothers, are you ready to let your children become orphans just so that some crazy obsessive leader can get his hands on the noble peace prize.

“The most persistent sound which reverberates through men’s history is the beating of war drums.” - Arthur Koestler
If you are MDP maybe you think I’m bashing this government, but i have no color and i follow no party and i only work for the people of the Maldives. I want whats best for them and by God if there is anything or anyone threatening the safety of our people or our country that person is my enemy and I’ll do whatever it takes to prevent it take any action in any form of way i can as an individual! I love my country and will serve it gladly till my last breath and will happily give my life as everyone i love and care about is in it. But i can’t let myself accept our few 5,000 or so soldiers will be sent to US/UN made wars to risk their lives. I’d rather they stay in our country playing cards. Really we struggle to keep peace & order at our own country. Many of the islands are without police headquarters and drug dealers, gangsters and sex offenders are roaming freely. Why don’t our government sent troops to that place and first try to settle our own mess, But NO we can’t have that the big man top needs to get his noble peace prize and our family & friends will pay for it with their blood.
Did you know that UN will pay the Maldivian defense ministry handsomely for participating in this operation. What i hope is at least these money will be used to help the families of these soldier after they get injured and martyred and leave their families unsupported. To know more about how UN's peace keeping works and how much they pay the countries for it please i strongly recommend you guys to check this link from BBC i have posted below after the UN peace keeping map. Also consequences are of supporting these operations could lead to Maldives being vulnerable to a terrorist attack as these soldiers are gonna be sent mostly to Muslim nations where there are a lot of radicals.  People if you let these things go on and let yourself always be in the dark and don't unite as people branding yourself with these parties you will pay the price heavily. One day Maldivian just like the US and UK mothers, fathers, daughters, brothers, wife's and their children will hear tragic news of their loved ones death or huge gruesome cruel injuries and cry in vain for the government to please bring them back from the battlefield.

Smoking a bigger crime > Sex offenders go to next level: Beastiality

I was just shocked to hear the news today on Haveeru news. For those of you who doesn’t know what i’m talking about check this link: http://bit.ly/eHHNQe Seriously my jaws dropped and i didn’t know what to say. Maldivians have stooped so low to the level of mindless beasts. Lesbians, Gays, Rapists and Incest stories of fathers abusing their daughters, Mature adults abusing small little innocent children’s, Internet webcam sex scandals and the latest of all they have now started abusing animals! Yes! you heard it right people Bestiality is the newest trend of sex offense going on now at Maldives and I’m not talking about Mortal Kombat’s Fatality, Bability stuff but the real deal if you still can’t believe me here is what happened! Four people from Ha.Dhaal Makunudhoo were found out to have stolen a Billy Goat you know like that goat in Gregory story and taken it to an isolated island and abused it sexually, killing the goat in the process. When we thought Maldivians couldnt do any worse out pops even a bigger problem. It’s so embarrassing & an act of pure shame for us Muslims to know any Maldivian will fall so low and do such a gruesome and degrading act. Maldivians when i think what might befallen on to us for consequences of these peoples actions, makes me so scared sick for each and everyone of us.
God Forbid we all will end up paying for the consequences of these peoples sins. Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Tornadoes, Typhoons aren’t just coincidence, its God’s wrath on people who have done him wrong. Maldivian government, parliament the people really needs to look in to these issues. Really strict laws needs to be made and maintained. There should be no tolerance for such acts of shame. These people who do these needs to be punished and made an example of, i say give them the most harsh, shameful and severe punishment imaginable. These scum of the earth deserves it. It’s true this would never occur if we were following the laws and punishments cited on the holy Qur’an. Well at least if they are not following it make some punishments and laws so that perverted people like these would think a thousand times before ever engaging in such an act.
They can charge a 500 – 1000/- RF even more & even jail a person for smoking a cigarette while driving a motor bike if I’m fully correct, but the justice system can’t seem to punish these sex offenders at all. Smoking seems a bigger crime than Sex offenders, well at least they get more harsh punishments. A lot of these sex offenders who got their cases goes out freely as cases doesnt get proved or cause the goverment just forgives them and lets them go after a while in prison, ironically for good behaviour. A network in police needs to be maintained about these sex offenders, they need to be black listed and a team should be made to monitor these people, as its not safe anymore in Maldives to leave your kids alone in a place or a for a women to even take a taxi, of fear of being molested and raped. Its funny police are always swarming around to look for people misbehaving traffic laws and i don’t have a problem with it. But why can’t police be installed in all these Islands in Maldives to monitor these types of crimes.
Ha.Dhaal Makunudhoo is at one end of Maldives and the place has been one of the islands with the most increasing amounts of various Sex offending crimes and like most other islands has no way of enforcing any law on them. Because their no police posts to monitor these people, they are just running out like headless chickens with nobody to stop anything they do. Certainly this something wrong, therefore government needs to monitor each and every island, keep a police station installed in each capital island in every atoll and have small police posts in each other islands. Also justice systems needs to change, new reforms, laws and regulations passed from parliament with a no tolerance act to such actions and very strict severe punishments needs to be implemented. These people need to be made an example of, because thats the only way to prevent getting these crimes getting even more out of hand than it already is.

The Garbage Waste Land: Maldives Swimming Track

Guess where the above pictures are taken from. Well! I’m sure most of you will get it right, at least one of the pictures surely. Yes! the one to your right is from Male’ T-Jetty and the one on your left is from the very place most of us go for swimming with our families. No April fools! it’s not Artificial Beach. It’s actually our swimming track near the dharubaruge area. See how gross it is filled with petrol, empty bottles, plastic bags, shoes, condoms & god knows what people throw to our beautiful sea.

Really you wouldn't believe how dull & mundane most countries sea looks like (see above), believe me it’s really crappy looking like some murky mud flood. Maldivians need to know how fortunate they are to have such a beautiful place to live in. How wonderful their sea is with so many beautiful bluish, greenish colors with lagoons, huge coral reefs and enormous types of fish and other bio diverse species. But it’s sad most of us don’t acknowledge that factor. Just look at our swimming track area there so many garbage there that I’m not sure if its safe to even go for a swim there. The water flow there is somehow not so good with the big tripod rocks blocking the passage on low tides and next to there is a boat yard where they pump petrol and service those boats. I’m sure Oil spills will flood in to where we swim. Also did you know the so-called treated sewage is spilled near that area. But don’t feel so healthy that its treated, this is Maldives we are speaking and everything is only half done. I remember once hearing from our news not to eat fish caught from near that area. So seriously people do you really wanna go and swim there and god forbid get some bad disease.

If you’re not that aware of the fact maybe its time you do and share this with everyone. Also apart from all those it doesn’t help that we the people dump so many things there it’s so filthy and disgusting to swim there. For crying out loud small kids from primary go to learn to swim there and what do they find condoms and women’s tampons. Ever since the Coast Guards stopped or took a long break from cleaning the jetty areas of our sea, the amount of waste has been getting so much its troubling and disgusting to look into the sea, mostly near the local Market and the Fish Market Area. The look which once our ocean gave us so much pleasure in looking has turned to a filthy and gruesome wasteland. Our government needs to put more effort in to cleaning these places regularly for at least public health reasons and we as the people need not throw so much stuff like these non-biodegradable plastic bags (takes 100 years to get disposed) which are so harmful to our coral reefs & the sea creatures. (Birds, Turtles, Fishes and Corals die trapped by these plastic bags)

Also It’s not only the swimming tracks we have to be aware of. Our whole ocean as a whole, cause it’s what makes Maldives so beautiful and unique. Maldivians be proud & grateful of the natural beauty god gifted our nation. So if we don’t protect  try to preserve our islands natural beauty people who will, so let’s take a stand and take some action as an individual to never throw anything in to our beautiful sea.
